Welcome to Cheriton Fitzpaine

Welcome to Cheriton Fitzpaine, a Red Devon village, just a couple of miles north of the main Crediton to Tiverton road. The village is a mix of old and new and is host to many fifteenth century houses, two churches, and a recently built primary school (replacing the thatched Devon long house). Cheriton Fitzpaine is a lovely village with a thriving community and there are numerous clubs and organisations established throughout the village to suit various age groups.

Currently there are Post Office services at the Parish Hall and a community shop in the village.

The Parish Council

The parish council meets on the third Tuesday of the month in the Committee Room at the Parish Hall at 7.30 pm.

Members of the public are welcome to attend and may address matters to the Council during the public session which is at the beginning of the meeting.

If you have something you would like the parish council to consider, please forward your request to the Clerk or a councillor by the second Tuesday of the month. The council can only make decisions on items that are on the agenda.
