CLEO (Cheriton Ladies Evening Organisation)
We were originally a W.I group but decided the village didn't need two, so formed an independent group to cater for women of all ages. We have many members who live in the village but also several from the surrounding area, and even Crediton! We operate on a very informal basis and just aim to bring together local women for an evening's enjoyment.
We meet once a month, on a Wednesday evening and our programme is very varied. We have talks, visits, meals, quizzes and demonstrations. We normally finish the evening over a cup of tea or coffee, with the chance to chat and make new friends or catch up with old ones.
Subs are £8 per annum, and we are always happy to welcome visitors for £2 donation. If you subsequently decide to join, that £2 will be deducted from your subscription.
