2024 Coldridge Fete Overview
Our biennial Village Fete, Vintage Rally, Flower Festival and Dog Show has many aims and objectives, the principal one being to offer a great fun-filled day out for families, both local and visiting from further afield. The event also seeks to raise much needed funds to support our Parish community - in 2024 this includes Coldridge Village Hall and St. Matthew's Church Fabric Fund. Younger members of our parishioners' families often return from their homes across the country for Fete Day, many turning up to run their own stalls and attractions to help make the Fete a great success.
The 2024 Coldridge Village Fete & Vintage Rally - Overview
Celebrating the best of life in Coldridge and Mid-Devon the much-loved Coldridge Village Fete & Vintage Rally, Flower Festival and Dog Show will return on Saturday 29th June 2024 between 12 noon and 5pm.
Located at the heart of the community alongside the Church and Village Green you will find a selection of traditional village fete stalls, a children’s entertainer, activities and games, along with live music performed by local artists and singing groups.
A variety of local traders and craft demonstrations will be situated around our main ring - the focus for a variety of exciting entertainments planned for the afternoon.
The Vintage Rally brings together an impressive display of classic & vintage cars, motorcycles, stationary engines, and tractors, many of which will join the Grand Parade in the main ring. The 13th Century Parish Church of St. Matthew’s provides an historic setting for our themed Flower Festival whilst our ever-popular family fun Dog Show offers a range of classes open to all, culminating in the judging of the ‘Best in Show’ in the main ring.
Food and drink will be available throughout the day including a tea tent serving snacks and cakes, a licensed bar, plus barbeque and ice-cream stalls. Finally, you can try out your luck in one of the afternoon’s competitions including the 2024 Grand Prize Draw!
To help families join us at the Fete, once again entrance for all aged 16 and under will be FREE. So, save the date and join us on 29th June 2024 for one of Mid-Devon’s best days out.
