Our Tai Chi Class meets on Monday afternoons between 4pm and 5pm.

All are welcome. It costs £2.00 per session, with all proceeds going to the Village Hall.

Tai Chi is derived from a martial art and involves a relaxed form of movement coordinated with the breath. Usually practised slowly, it is said to help calm the mind and bring the body to a state of relaxation and natural ease. Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that promotes core strength and stability, co-ordination, balance, and flexibility; speeded up Tai Chi can be used as an aerobic exercise. There are said to be various physical health benefits from practising Tai Chi, moreover there is the mental stimulation of learning a new skill. There are no upper or lower age limits to Tai Chi, and no previous experience is necessary.
