Buzzard Wood access update

The chairman reported that the chairman of Cadeleigh meeting had contacted him about as he had received complaints from the public as the landowner had closed access to his land at Buzzards Wood which has always been accessible.  It appears the owner had closed the access at Buzzards Wood due to the public not following the designated path. The National Trust, who owns some of the land, had refused to put up any signage.

Several members of the public had now contacted Devon CC to requested a public right of way/bridleway through the owner’s land due to the many years it has been open to use.

  1. PLANNING APPLICATION (20/00594/MFUL) – Erection of 5 poultry units; biomass boiler unit; attenuation pond; access track; hardstanding; landscaping and associated infrastructure at Edgeworthy Farm, Nomansland

An environmental statement had now been received for this application which was not available at the time it was first discussed.

Proposal: Mr Berry proposed and Mr Lake seconded that the original comments made about this application would stand and no further action was required, and the meeting unanimously agreed.
