Parish Council meeting was held in Cruwys Morchard Parish Hall on Thursday 13th February 2020 at 8 p.m.

4 MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS
The minutes of the meeting held on 5th December 2019 had already been circulated prior to the meeting.

Proposal: Agreement to the content of the minutes was proposed by Mr M. Lake and seconded by Mr P. Lake and was unanimously agreed by the meeting and duly signed by the chairman.
5 DECLARATION OF INTEREST
Mrs J. Mitchell declared a personal interest for Planning Application 19/01890/FULL Mr M. Lake declared a pecuniary interest for Planning Application 20/00210/HOUSE
6 MATTERS ARISING
Cllr Squires stated that she would once again chase where the procedure is for Traffic Regulation Order for Pennymoor speed limits.
7 PLANNING APPLICATION (19/0189047/FULL) – Retention of converted building to 2 bedroom live/work unit at South Eastway View, Pennymoor.

Mrs J. Mitchell left the meeting
A discussion took place about this retrospect planning application.

Proposal: Mr Lake proposed and Mr Baker seconded agreement to this planning and the meeting unanimously agreed.
Mrs J. Mitchell returned to the meeting
8 PLANNING APPLICATION (20/00210/HOUSE) – Erection of single storey and two storey rear extensions at 9 Moor View, Pennymoor

Mr M. Lake left the meeting
A short discussion took place.

Proposal: Mr Berry proposed and Mrs Mitchell seconded agreement to this planning and the meeting unanimously agreed.
Mr Lake returned to the meeting

9 Payment of parish hall meeting room for year 2019
The clerk stated that the parish council had had 9 meetings in 2019 at a cost of £66.00

Proposal: Mr Lake proposed and Mr Kingdom seconded agreement to pay the sum of £66 to Cruwys Morchard Parish Hall committee and the meting unanimously agreed. A cheque was duly drawn and signed by the Chairman and Clerk.
10 HIGHWAYS PROBLEMS
The following highway problems were reported
• The clerk stated that diverted traffic at Mudfordgate turn off had caused the verge of the grass bank to be driven over and more recently the post box had been knocked down, which had now been reported to highways and the Royal Mail.
• Cllr Colthorpe would report the water cascading at times across the road just passed Withleigh nursery, which when icy becomes a real danger.
• Potholes at Pages Cross
• Potholes between Cotton Lane and Beer Ash X
