Parish Council meeting on Thursday 9th July 2020 at 8 p.m.

Due to COVID-19 this meeting was held remotely via video conferencing

 

  1. MEMBERS PRESENT 

Mr G. Hall (Chairman), Mr D. Berry, Mrs J. Mitchell, Mr. M. Lake, Mrs P. Colthorpe (District Councillor)

Mr R. Hill (Son ill), Cllr M. Squires (Other meetings to attend)

Mr P. Lake, Mr G. Kingdom 

  1. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING 

The minutes of the meeting held on 11th June 2020 had already been circulated prior to the meeting. 

Proposal: Agreement to the content of the minutes was proposed by Mr Berry and seconded by Mrs Mitchell and was unanimously agreed by the meeting. Minutes will be signed by the chairman in due course.

  1. MATTERS ARISING

None 

  1. PLANNING APPLICATION (20/00818/FULL) – Conversion of garage to holiday let at Chapple Farm, Pennymoor 

A discussion took place about this planning application. 

Proposal: Mr Berry proposed and Mr Lake seconded agreement to this planning application but with the following comment:

  • There is a concern about the vehicular access getting worse as it is already in a poor state and further traffic will only make it worse. 

and the meeting unanimously agreed. 

  1. PLANNING APPLICATION (20/00944/HOUSE) – Erection of two storey side extension, conversion of outbuilding to ancillary accommodation with attached carport, erection of single storey extension to link ancillary accommodation to dwelling, conversion of barn to office and erection of 2 new stables at Lower Lugsland, Withleigh. 

A discussion took place concerning this application. 

Proposal: Mrs Mitchell proposed and Mr Berry seconded agreement to these planning applications and the meeting unanimously agreed.

None
