Minutes 9th September 2021
Parish Council meeting was held on Thursday 9th September 2021 at 8 p.m. in the Parish Hall

- MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The minutes of the meeting held on 12th August 2021 had already been circulated prior to the meeting.
Proposal: Agreement to the content of the minutes was proposed by Mr P. Lake and seconded by Mrs Mitchell and was unanimously agreed by the meeting. Minutes will be signed by the chairman in due course.

- MATTERS ARISING
The clerk stated the following:
- the verge at the junction of Two Post Cross had been cut back
- The issue with the overhanging tree at the junction to Middlewick Barton, Nomansland had been reported but she was awaiting for a reply from Mid Devon DC as to whether the tree has a Tree Preservation Order on it.
- The highways department will be writing to the owners of Hope Cottage , Nomansland about the trees/hedge that have been planted on the verge of the B3137 causing visibility issues for them to be removed.
- The Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) is still ongoing but now the clerk at Lapford PC had left there is an issue as to whether the Community Grant awarded of £2200 had been paid to Lapford back in 2017 and the clerk was investigating the situation.
- PLANNING APPLICATION (21/01666/HOUSE) – Erection of two storey extension at Pennymoor Cottage, Pennymoor.
A short discussion took place
Proposal: Mr Berry proposed and Mr M. Lake seconded agreement to this planning application and meeting unanimously agreed
- HIGHWAYS
The following potholes were reported:
- Along by the Rectory
- By South Linhay
- Just past Fork Farm
