Minutes 10th March 2022
Parish Council meeting was held on Thursday 10th March 2022 at 8 p.m. in the Parish Hall
1. MEMBERS PRESENT
Mr G. Hall (Chairman), Mr D. Berry, Mr J. Grant, Ms R. Wibberley, Mr G. Kingdom, Mr. M. Lake, Mrs J. Mitchell, Cllr P Colthorpe, Mrs M. Squires (County Councillor)

3. NON-ATTENDANCE

4. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The minutes of the meeting held in January 2022 had already been circulated prior to the meeting.
Proposal: Agreement to the content of the minutes was proposed by Mr Berry and seconded by Mrs J. Mitchell and was unanimously agreed by the meeting. The minutes were signed by the chairman.
The minutes of the meeting held on 9th December 2021 were read out by the clerk.

5. DECLARATION OF INTEREST
None
6. MATTERS ARISING
The meeting agreed that due to changes in the COVID rules, future parish council meetings will be held in the parish hall meeting room.
7. 20 IS PLENTY ROADSIGNS
A discussion took place as to whether 20 is plenty road signs should be put up through Pennymoor village, but it was agreed that it was better to wait for the planned Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) providing a speed limit of 30mph.
8. DEFIBRILLATOR MEETING ON 6TH APRIL 2022
The clerk stated that notifications to parishioners had now gone out via email and an insert invitation in the church magazine. At the moment only 3 people have stated they will be attending the meeting. If the numbers attending do not increase, then it will be decided nearer the date whether it is worth holding the meeting.
If the meeting goes ahead and a defibrillator is wanted by the parish then Cllr Squires said that she would probably be able to give the sum of £350.00 from the Locality Fund to part fund the purchase of the defibrillator.
9. HIGHWAYS
The following problems on the roads were reported:

Many potholes on the road between Two Post Cross and Mudford Gate

Potholes between the School House and The Rectory

Several potholes between Greenland Head and Puddington
