Parish Council meeting was held on Thursday 9th November 2023 at 8 p.m. in the Parish Hall
1. MEMBERS PRESENT
Mr G. Hall (Chairman), Mr D. Berry, Ms R. Wibberley, Mr. J. Grant, Mr. M. Lake, Cllr P. Colthorpe (District Councillor)
2. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Mrs J. Mitchell (Play rehearsals), Mr G. Kingdom (Family commitments), Mr. P. Lake (Another meeting to attend)
3. NON-ATTENDANCE
None
4. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The minutes of the meeting held on 12th October 2023 had already been circulated prior to the meeting.
Proposal: Agreement to the content of the minutes was proposed by Mr Berry and seconded by Mr. M. Lake and was unanimously agreed by the meeting. The minutes were signed by the chairman.
5. DECLARATION OF INTEREST
None
6. MATTERS ARISING
WITHERIDGE AND NOMANSLAND SPEED WATCH GROUP
The clerk stated that she had not received a response to her email to the above concerning donations from the other parishes.
7. PRECEPT 2024/5
The clerk handed out the budget details for 2024/25 followed by a discussion.
Proposal: Mr Grant proposed and Mr Berry seconded a precept of £5600 and the meeting unanimously agreed.
