Parish Council
Hittisleigh a small rural parish and village just north-east of Dartmoor. Once part of the ancient district of the Wonford Hundred, it is now administered by Mid Devon District Council and part of the Central Devon constituency.
Hittisleigh Parish Council was established in 1928 and has seven parish councillors. The Council meets bi monthly, usually on the third Wednesday evening of the month, at 7.30pm at Hittisleigh Village Hall. Members of the public are very welcome and encouraged to attend Council meetings. The Annual Parish meeting is usually held in May.
