Rail – Tarka Line

There is a regular train service that runs between Exeter St David’s and Barnstaple Stations, at approximately one hourly intervals.

Trains stop at Morchard Road by request and Eggesford Stations.  They also stop at Lapford twice a day upon request.  Detailed information on train times and on line booking may be found at the GWR Website

Bus Services

#5C Stagecoach South West - Lapford

The #5C bus runs between Exeter and Chulmleigh.  It stops at Lapford at approximately 2 hourly intervals.

#647 Carmel Bristol - Allerbridge

A weekly bus service, the #647 on Fridays, is operated by Carmel of Bristol, running between Hatherleigh (via Allerbridge) and Exeter, departing for Exeter at 09:54hrs from Allerbridge Chapel, returning at 14:39hrs.
