When do you need a defibrillator and what does it do?

The British Heart Foundation's website answers this question.

Defibrillator Training

A free two-hour defibrillator and CPR training session is held once per year. The next one will be in 2024.

Please note that to revive a person who is in cardiac arrest you need to understand what the defibrillator does AND be able to perform CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation).
