Parish Council Agenda: January 2022

Councillors: you are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Oakford Parish Council, to be held at Oakford Village Hall on Monday 10th January 2022 at 7.30 pm for the purpose of transacting the following business.

Please note that this meeting will be in the main hall where windows will be open. Everyone is asked to continue to social distance and wear masks while they are moving around. Masks can be removed during the meeting when everyone is seated.

Members of the public and press are invited to attend the meeting.

AGENDA

To receive apologies for absence.

Declarations of Interest

In accordance with the Code of Conduct, members are required to declare any personal or disclosable pecuniary interests, in items to be considered at this meeting. 

Public Forum

an opportunity for members of the public to make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of any item of business on the agenda, or any matter of interest to the parish. The period of time designated for public participation shall not exceed 15 minutes.

To agree the minutes of the meeting held on 13th December 2021 as an accurate record of the meetings.

Planning

  1. a) To comment on any planning applications received before the meeting. No applications received at present.
  2. To note any planning decisions made by MDDC. No decisions received at present.
  3. Any other planning matters.

Highways

  2. Update on replacement of the ‘20 is Plenty’ signs

Community Area

  1. a) Any points to note from the inspection of the community area.
  2. b) Update on ordering of new gates

Finance

  1. To approve any invoices or expense claims presented for payment
  2. To agree the budget and precept request for 2022-2023
  3. Update on online banking changes and setting up of new signatory
  4. Update on applying for funding for proposed notice board for Oakford.
