Councillors: you are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Oakford Parish Council to be held in the Committee Room at Oakford Village Hall at 7.30pm on Monday 8th September 2025 for the purpose of transacting the following business.
Members of the public and press are invited to attend the meeting.

In accordance with the Code of Conduct, members are required to declare any personal or disclosable pecuniary interests, in items to be considered at this meeting.
To agree to co-opt a councillor.
Public Forum:
an opportunity for members of the public to make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of any item of business on the agenda, or any matter of interest to the parish. No member of the public will speak for more than 3 minutes. The period of time designated for public participation shall not exceed 15 minutes.

a) To comment on any planning applications received before the meeting.
25/01265/Full Erection of two dwellings utilising the Class Q fallback position; conversion and extension of an existing barn to form a dwelling; erection of garages; demolition of redundant agricultural buildings; and creation of new access tracks with associated landscaping. Location: Land and Buildings at NGR 286852 123156 Lower Woodburn Farm, Oakford.
25/01351/CLU Certificate of lawfulness for the existing siting of 1 free standing biomass boiler and flue and 1 biomass boiler and flue within an existing building for a period in excess of 10 years. Location: Wedgewood Buildings Limited Unit 2 Highfield Farm.
b) To note any planning decisions made by MDDC.
25/00472/Full Replacement of earth bank lagoon with concrete panelled slurry lagoon. Location: Land at NGR 289816 123301 East Tapps Farm, Oakford. Decision: conditional approval.

25/01083/CAT Application to reduce canopy height and length of overhanging branches of Sycamore/Ash hedge line (H1) by 1-2m; Reduce the height of one Silver Birch tree (SB1) by 4-5m and reduction of side branches, reduce the height of Silver Birch trees (SB2-5) in line with SB1 to retain aesthetic look within the conservation area. Location: Rowan House, Oakford.
