Shobrooke Walks Leaflet
Background
In the latter part of 2016 and the early period of 2107, Phil Keen and Fred Harper put together a leaflet called Shobrooke Walks. This was supported in principle by the Parish Council and financially by Devon County Council through a locality grant. One thousand copies of the leaflet were printed locally by Hedgerow Print and made available at the March 2017 meeting of the Parish Council. The leaflets were subsequently distributed though The Red Lion Inn and three dispensers in the Parish. Others have been distributed by individuals and placed in outlets in Crediton and at Great Gutton (a local holiday let complex).
The leaflets have proved to be very popular and we now have less than 100 in stock. I have asked Phil Keen to get a price for a further run of 1,000 copies from Hedgerow Print. Phil and I would look at the content and make any necessary minor amendments.
Proposal
The Parish Council should consider supporting a reprint of the leaflet Shobrooke Walks and suggest sources of money for funding it.

Agenda Item 9.1.4
E-mail from BHIB Insurance
In respect of Parishioner who cuts the grass in your playpark on his own equipment, providing there is an agreement/contract in place and he is abiding by the risk assessment and provided that the equipment he uses is used and maintained as per the manufacturer’s instructions then yes he will be covered. However we will not provide cover for any damages caused to the mower or any roadside use for the mower.
Inspections for playpark equipment, should be carried out on a regular basis and noted in the minutes, so you have record of the checks.
