5.1 Planning Applications:
21/02409/HOUSE - Erection of a replacement extension with associated works following demolition of existing lean to extension at The Old Post Office, 10 The Village, Shobrooke – no comment
Since the agenda had been circulated a consultation as a neighbouring parish had been received for Reserved matters at Peddlars Pool. Clerk to request an extension of time for comments and Cllrs to consider application with regard to affordable housing and infrastructure including school and footpaths
5.2 Planning Decisions:

5.3 To note consultation Parish Review by MDDC
Details had been circulated. Clerk to confirm that Shobrooke is happy with the current arrangement of parishes.
5.4 To note MDDC Planning Training – 20 January, 2pm via zoom

5.5 Report from MDDC Councillor, Cllr Graeme Barnell on MDDC business relevant to the parish
Cllr G Barnell reported that the trees in School Close had been inspect and remedial work was required on one. Rendering of the playpark wall should have been completed and Cllr G Barnell would follow this up. MDDC would be consulting on the Local Plan Review, Policies and Procedures and the Parish Council should consider its comments carefully. Discussion took place on whether the Parish Council should pursue affordable housing within the parish and it was agreed to try and generate some interest via The Brooke, ideally a local champion who would be willing to take the issue forward.

The annual P3 survey had been completed with no major issues identified.

8.1 Update on Community Emergency plan
Cllr L Balkwill had circulated a draft and this would be considered at the next meeting. Clerk to forward details of locations of grit bins and the defibrillator at Efford

There was no update on the return to the parish of the towable gritter
9.2 Playing Fields
9.2.1 To note weekly inspections reports
Noted. No new issues identified. Power washing of the slippery surfaces would be carried out as soon as possible and once the weather was warmer, the slide would be painted.
9.2.2 Update on grant application to Viridor
Two suppliers had visited the play park and quotes were expected shortly. At least five letters of support were required and these should be sent to the Clerk. Clerk to ask Cllr M Squires for funding support
