5.1                   Planning Applications:

22/00889/HOUSE - Erection of single storey extension at 1 Little Gutton Cottages, Shobrooke – no comment

5.2                   Planning Decisions:

22/00233/FULL-Variation of condition 2 of planning permission 21/01430/FULL to allow the provision of an integrated garage and an external chimney - Erection of an agricultural workers dwelling at land at NGR 289026 99967 (West Of Shute Cross) Shobrooke - grant permission

5.3                   Report from MDDC Councillor, Cllr Graeme Barnell on MDDC business relevant to the parish including update on planning meeting and affordable housing

The Parish consultation had asked if parishioners were in favour of affordable housing and out of 12 replies so far, 5 were in favour, 3 were against and 4 did not answer the question.  More replies were awaited.   Cllr G Barnell had recently attended a presentation at MDDC on affordable housing and would circulate the presentation when available.   

Notes from the recent estate walk about would be circulated.

8.1                   Grass cutting at war memorial – to consider options Clerk to contact the parishioner who cuts the playing field and ask if he would be able to strim the bank approximately 5 times a year.  Cllr A Jones would continue to mow the grass around the memorial

8.2                   To consider any responses to parish consultation re 20mph speeding limit

To date, 12 positive responses had been received.  More responses were being followed up.  Jubilee seeds had been given out except to any children in Shute.  Clerk to find out details of children in Shute

9.2.1                Update on grant application to Viridor

A Viridor rep would visit the park on Wednesday 22 June to meet with Cllr A Jones and Cllr L Balkwill. The previously arranged working party had not taken place and it was agreed to carry out some maintenance work following the visit on the 22.   The sign for the noticeboard would be updated with Cllr A Jones contact details
