Where possible, the Parish Council will consult parishioners about actions or events.

Currently the Parish Council is asking parishioners for suggestions on how the playground could be improved.  This is following a request from Mid Devon District Council who are required to maintain a register of small projects that may be developed on public open space over the next 3-5 years.  This register will be used in planning applications which require the developer to make a contribution to improve facilities near the new dwelling/development.     Although having items on the register does not guarantee or imply that funds will be available, it will provide a useful starting point should any funding become available at some point in the future.

The Parish Council consulted on a use for the adopted BT phone kiosk and various suggestions were made.  The main suggestion was for a defibrillator which has now been installed and is registered with South West Ambulance Service.  A free defibrillator training session for interested parishioners took place in March 2019

Could you help with a Big Litter Pick?  We are hoping to run a litter picking session on a date, time and area to be agreed depending on the number of willing volunteers who sign up.

In November 2015 a footpath consultation was carried out.  This was published in the Parish's quarterly magazine, The Brooke.  The consultation was on behalf of the land owner who wished to find out parishioners opinions regarding possible changes to various footpaths around the parish. An on-line survey was set up to register opinions.
