Location

Stoodleigh lies about 800 feet above the Exe Valley, roughly equidistant between the north and south Devon coasts and close to the Devon/Somerset border.

The village is about 6 miles north of Tiverton and 5 miles south of Bampton. 

One of the main approaches to Stoodleigh is the Drive which is two and a half miles long and connects Stoodleigh via a bridge over the River Exe to the A396, Tiverton/Bampton road.

The village has easy access to the A361 North Devon Link Road with links to Barnstaple and the M5 (J27).
