Stoodleigh Annual Parish Meeting 2026: Wednesday 27 May
Notice is given that the Annual Parish Meeting 2026 for Stoodleigh will be held in Stoodleigh Parish Hall, on Wednesday 27 May at 7pm. The meeting is open to all electors of the parish or interested parties.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for representatives of groups and organisations within the parish to report and celebrate their activities over the past year and give notice of their plans for the future.
There is also a public forum to debate any current issues in the community.
If anyone has specific topics that they would like to be included on the agenda could they notify the Clerk by email to stoodleighp@gmail.com or telephone 01884 259624 by 18/5/26.

Stoodleigh Parish Council has published the Agenda for the Parish Council AGM to be held on 5 May at 7pm at Stoodleigh Parish Hall. The Parish Council has also published the Agenda for the Ordinary Meeting which will follow the AGM.
Please note: A member of the District Council can be available to discuss any individual issues before the meeting. Please book an appointment with the Clerk stoodleighp@gmail.com or 01884 259624, by no later than 12noon on Friday 1 May 2026 if you wish to speak to a District Councillor.

Defibrillators in Stoodleigh
There are two defibrillators available in Stoodleigh. Defibrillator 1 is in the open Porch at the Parish Hall and Defibrillator 2 is outside The Stoodleigh Inn, in the wall beside the road. The defibrillator webpage provides full details about access and use.

Stoodleigh Community Help Network: Update
The Stoodleigh Community Help Network continues to be on hand should our neighbours need assistance!
Since April 2020 and during the coronavirus pandemic several residents in our parish volunteered to support their neighbours by helping with everyday necessities. Our community is great at offering help to one another under normal circumstances so the group were able to provide an extra back-up.
The group offering their support to people in the community will continue to be available should residents need help at particular times with necessities like shopping and collecting prescriptions, etc.
Stoodleigh residents, please remember, if you need some help, or know someone in our parish who might need some support, please let us know.
