STOODLEIGH ANNUAL PARISH MEETING to be held in Stoodleigh Parish Hall on Wednesday 27 May 2025 at 7.00pm

 

The Annual Parish Meeting for all electors of Stoodleigh Parish

The purpose of the meeting is for the Parish Council to reflect on the past year and share their vision for the year ahead. It is an opportunity for the electors to have their say on anything they consider important to the people of the Parish.

The Annual Parish Meeting is a meeting of all the local government electors for the Parish. It is not a Parish Council meeting. Anyone may attend but only registered electors of the parish may speak and vote.

Any registered elector may ask questions of the Council.  An elector may also make suggestions and comment on anything pertinent to the people of the parish.

  1. Report from the Chairman of the Parish Council
  1. Reports from Local Organisations including -:

The Cricket Club

The Parish Hall Committee

The Garden Club and Swap Box

The Church Warden

The Parish Website

Trustees of the Stoodleigh Inn

Any other Club, Group or Organisation who would like to contribute

  1. Any parishioners who would like to speak, are invited to do so at this point.

This is an opportunity for Stoodleigh Parishioners to raise and discuss Village related topics. The Parish Council has come up with the following suggestions -:

a) Enthusiasm to hold a Village Fun Day/Dog Show.

b) Snow Warden

c) Road Warden

d) Community Emergency Hubs

e) The Parish Plan
