MINUTES of a meeting of Stoodleigh Parish Council held remotely on Friday 9 October at 7pm via Google Meet

 

Present Councillors:   G Parkman, C Payne and G Talbot

In the absence of the Chairman, Cllr Parkman proposed, and it was agreed, that Cllr Payne chair the meeting.

1          Apologies:  Councillors L Biles, S Davey, J Widdowson and W Knowles (due to problems with his Internet) 

2          Declarations of Interest:  None

3          The Public: There were no members of the public present.

4          Planning application - 20/01576/HOUSE | Conversion of double garage to ancillary accommodation and relocation of oil tank | Drakes Mead Barn Stoodleigh

 Prior to the meeting members of the Parish Council had visited the site which was the subject of this application.

Following discussion it was, unanimously:-

RESOLVED that, the Local Planning Authority be advised that the Parish Council support this application including the considerations and recommendations regarding bats and birds contained within the Bat Survey.

 

5          Planning Application:   20/01549/CAT | Notification of intention to fell or pollard 1 Sycamore Tree (Tree 1) and trim back Ornamental Cherry Trees (Trees 2) by 2.5m within a Conservation Area | The Old Forge Stoodleigh

Prior to the meeting members of the Parish Council had visited the site which was the subject of this application

Following discussion it was, unanimously:-

RESOLVED that, the Local Planning Authority be advised that the Parish Council support this application to include the felling of 1 Sycamore Tree and any necessary required pruning of 2 Ornamental Cherry Trees as advised by the tree surgeon as all three trees may become a danger if left unattended.
