4. Planning Application: 26/00499/FULL Erection of an agricultural building for aquaponics
enterprise| Land and Buildings at NGR 290715 118462 Beacon View Stoodleigh

On the 8th May 2026 members of the Parish Council visited the site which was the subject
of this application.

RESOLVED that the Local Planning Authority be advised that the Parish
Council support this application. The question of odour arising from the
enterprise has been raised by a near-neighbour. The Council’s view is that if the
equipment is designed and operated correctly this should not be a problem but
if it should arise, remedial action should be taken by the applicant.
