The Men of Stoodleigh
An exhibition to commemorate the men from Stoodleigh who died in the First World War
If you go into St Margaret's Church you will see an oak panel in the porch which commemorates:
"those of the parish and estate who laid down their lives and of those who served in the Great War"
There are sixty four names on the panel, of whom seven died.
This exhibition tries to tell something of the lives of those who died and their families' lives.
If, when you look at the these pages or links, you find that you are a relation, or know something about one of the men or have any photos which could be added, we would very much like to hear from you. Please contact stoodleighweb@gmail.com
