Hall Kitchen Refit 2023
The Hall kitchen refit has now been completed following much planning and discussion with users and it is absolutely fabulous!
The Parish Hall Chair commented "It was a total joy to work with a true professional who cared greatly about customer care and satisfaction along with providing great value for money. Our hall kitchen is now a warm and inviting place to be and a huge thank you to John, our MRFIXIT."
The Parish Hall team said "We're delighted to be able to complete this wonderful kitchen refit which will really improve the use of the Hall and be a delight for users. Not just for our Hall events but for all of you too - family events, local groups and organisations. Thank you to the Hall class users who were happy to use the main hall during the kitchen refit - despite a little disruption, and to those who weren't able to hold events at the Hall during the refit. We look forward to welcoming you as soon as you're ready."
Huge thanks to our fitter, John, MRFIXIT, who we have no hesitation in recommending. He was ably assisted by the electrician, Ben, from Twin Peaks Electrical. and the plumber, Tim'll Fixit.
John, MRFIXIT, said "Awesome few weeks working along with Viv and Geraldine of Stoodleigh Parish Hall. The remit was a total revamp of the very tired old kitchen. We gutted the kitchen, installed a liquid DPM, and levelled the floor, installed new vinyl flooring, before installing a complete new kitchen. We then concluded with decorations and new vinyl to the hallway. All in all a great few weeks."
The kitchen is now ready to share and available to hire and use by our local and wider community. Just contact the treasurer, Janet, on rusianjan@btinternet.com .
We took photos of the work along the way and you can see the kitchen - from start to finish - in the pictures as you scroll down the page below. Please have a peak at the kitchen when you're next at the Parish Hall and see for yourself!
