The Stoodleigh Defibrillator is available in the Parish Hall Porch.

If the defibrillator is needed, there is no access code, just follow the instructions on the cabinet to gain entry.

There are two clasps on the left hand side of the cabinet. Undo these and an alarm will sound.

Pick up the red case containing the defibrillator and the equipment required which is in a see through polythene bag to take to the emergency scene/person requiring assistance.

When you close the cabinet, the alarm will stop.

Once at the scene, when you open the defibrillator case, the instructions tell you exactly what you need to do.

A booklet with information and guidance on use of the defibrillator is available at the Parish Hall. Please have a look through it when the Hall is open - coffee mornings, classes and events.

The Parish Council used some of the legacy bequeathed by the late Dr Philpot to fund the purchase of the defibrillator. The Council is also grateful to Devon County and Mid Devon District Councils for TAP funding towards the cost of electricity work required and connection to the cabinet at the Parish Hall.
