Exe Valley Market Bus

The Exe Valley Market Bus provides a scheduled service from Oakford to Tiverton via Stoodleigh, Washfield, Loxbeare, Lurley and Calverleigh on Tuesdays and Fridays. See the contact information below for details of all routes, timetables, outings and hire arrangements. |
It also runs on the first Thursday of each month from Oakford to Barnstaple and from Oakford to South Molton on all remaining Thursdays.
In addition regular outings are arranged on the 1st Wednesday of each month to an annually arranged programme of venues.
It can also be booked for private hire by anyone in the community and is used regularly by local community organisations for trips.
The runs will follow our previous timetables and bookings are to be made by ringing Colin on 01884 881 351 for the Tiverton route and Michele or Tim on 01398 341 977 for the Barnstaple and South Molton runs.
This service has been in operation since 1977! For all those years it has been driven by volunteers from the local area and run by a voluntary committee.
