Uplowman Primary School describes itself as a Haven of Hope, Where Every Child Matters as a Child of God.  Now part of the 'Halberton & Uplowman Federation', generations of Uplowman's children have studied in this quiet place since it was built in 1874. 

The school roll hovers around its maximum of 60; crafts and music are taken very seriously at the same time as regularly achieving high standards in all the current requirements of the National Curriculum.

The Parish Council has been very happy to work with the school on a number of projects, including a permissive footpath built in 2010.
