Wembworthy Parish Council May 2019 Minutes Addendum
PARISH COUNCIL OF WEMBWORTHY
Minutes of the extraordinary Parish Council meeting held on Thursday 30th May 2019 at 7pm at the village hall. (due to the absence on 16th May 2019 of the Chairman) to approve the Annual Audit Report.
1/ Members present
Chairman Councillor Graham Penter, Councillor George Markou and Councillor Lawrence Peters attended. Councillors Joanne Hunt and Gail Tucker sent their apologies.
2/ Annual Audit Report
i) The Annual Report has been received and completed.
ii) The Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) has been completed
The Parish Council has completed a Certificate of Exemption – AGAR as its gross income or gross expenditure did not exceed £25000 in the year of account ended 31st March 2019.
The PC wished to certify themselves as exempt from a limited assurance review under Section 9 of the Local Audit (Smaller Authorities) Regulations 2015.
The Chairman and Clerk/RFO approved.
iii) The Annual Governance Statement
iv)Accounting statements 2018/2019
The Internal Audit report is to be completed by Brian Richardson, the councils usual auditor, before the 15th June 2019 as the completed forms and information is to be published on the PC website before 1st July 2019.
