Parish Council Overview
The Parish Council is responsible for the general upkeep of the village. The council oversees the grass cutting throughout the year. This includes the Churchyard, the verges and the cemetery.
The Parish Council look at planning applications and although has no power here, it has a voice and can put forward all comments from the community.
Since 2016 each parish throughout Devon will now have a dedicated website for the community to view. As we now have our very own website, the parish council will use this connection to list the agendas and minutes from all meetings and annual accounts for the parish council, so everyone can see what is being spent where and at what cost. Other relevant information about how the council operates will also be provided.
