Parish Councils are the first tier of local government and represent the views of the communities they serve.  They can influence other decision makers.  The Council is a consultee for planning applications in the parish and can also get involved in highways, traffic and transport, public open space, community safety, litter, seats, shelters and Rights of Way.

Mrs Jill Larcombe is the Clerk for the Parish Council and the contact for correspondence and enquiries.

The meeting due to be held on Wednesday 19th November 2025 at 7.30pm has been postponed as due to apologies received the meeting would not be quorate. A new date will be arranged.

Planned meeting dates for 2026 are: 21st January, 18th March, 20th May, 15th July, 16th September and 18th November.

Seven councillors represent the parish.  A Chairman is elected at the Annual Parish Council Meeting in May of each year.
